Adam Silver, the commissioner of the NBA, told ESPN's Malika Andrews that he was "shocked" that Ja Morant appeared to wave a gun on social media again.
"I was really shocked when I saw that video over the weekend," Silver said. "Right now, we're looking into it, and we'll try to figure out what happened as best we can. Even though the video is a little blurry and all, I'm thinking the worst."

Less than two and a half months earlier, Morant had shown a gun at a strip club near Denver while streaming on Instagram Live.
The NBA started looking into that tape right away, which led to an eight-game suspension in the end.
"We talked directly about the consequences first," Silver said of his chat with Morant after the first incident.
"Before we could have done something wrong in the future, we were very focused on the wrongdoing in front of us at the time.
Honestly, most of what we talked about was how serious the first time someone waved a gun on social media was.
Morant's March live stream was one of a number of troubling things he supposedly did off the court. Last summer, he punched a 17-year-old during a pick-up game.
was accused of threatening a security guard at a mall in Memphis, and he allegedly got into a fight with members of the Pacers' traveling party after a game in January.
