Alica Schmidt discusses the 'world's finest athlete' moniker, her 'goal' for the Paris Olympics, and her media degree.

400m runner Alica Schmidt has set her sights on the 2020 Olympics and being called the "world's sexiest athlete."

Alica Schmidt discusses being called the "world's sexiest athlete". The German's stunning beauty and great figure have garnered thousands of Instagram likes.

Schmidt was named "World's Sexiest Athlete" by Australian magazine Busted Coverage in 2017. She appreciates the affection and support, but the title doesn't fulfill her. "This title doesn't mean anything to me," the 23-year-old told The Sun.

It's based on someone else's appearance judgment. I think beauty is inside." In August, she reached the European Championships 400m semi-finals in Munich in front of her home fans.

Schmidt said the Munich European championships were special. Not only because I qualified for individuals, but also because the competition was near my hometown.

My parents were in the stadium, which made this very emotional. I couldn't express how grateful I was for everyone's support. Positively overwhelmed."

Schmidt was removed from the 400m team at the Tokyo Olympics last year. She was devastated to miss the main event, but the blonde beauty plans to compete in Paris two years from now.

It was on my bucket list, and my time in Tokyo taught me a lot and pushed me ahead. I love that it's my forever. To qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics and get faster. I'm also pursuing a bachelor's degree in communication and media design.
