‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ to Overtake ‘The Last Jedi’ and ‘The Avengers’ for 4th Highest US Movie Release

According to Deadline, "Avatar: The Way of Water" is anticipated to pass "Star Wars:

The Last Jedi" and "The Avengers" at the domestic box office by the middle of the following week.

And rank as the tenth-highest grossing film in the United States and Canada with $623.3 million.

For a seventh weekend in a row, "Avatar: 

The Way of Water" is anticipated to earn another $14–$16 million at the top of the box office. Currently, it has a domestic box office of about $604.8 million.

The domestic box office for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" was $620.1 million, while "The Avengers" brought in $623.3 million.

The movie "Avatar: The Way of Water" became the fourth-highest-grossing release of all time after earning $1 billion.

In less than two weeks and $2.074 billion since then, moving "The Force Awakens" to fifth place.

Three of the top four movies were directed by James Cameron.
