Blake Shelton quits "The Voice," Niall Horan discusses working with "champion" country vocalist

Blake Shelton, the star of country music, is coming to an end of a bittersweet chapter.

Shelton, 46, has spent 23 seasons as a contestant on NBC's "The Voice," and he is getting ready to leave the singing competition program. 

First-time coach Niall Horan and former champions on Team Blake discussed the influence the "God's Country" singer had on their lives in an interview with Fox News Digital. 

"Watching all of the Blake tributes was incredible... It was incredible to be a part of it, and even his entire final season, Horan. 

Added I'm overjoyed for Blake. He retires as the major champion after 23 seasons. Tuesday was Shelton's final show, and past Team Blake champion.
