Drew Barrymore slammed tabloids for stating that she wishes her mother was dead.
Barrymore, who became famous after E.T., posted on Instagram that the tabloids had
"twisted" her statements in an interview with The New York Magazine.
Barrymore was talking about her troubled connection with her mother, Jaid Barrymore.
She responded, “All their mums are gone, and my mum’s not.” She added, "Well, I don't have that luxury."
I cannot wait.I don't want to wish someone dead so I can improve. “But I have to f***ing grow in spite of her being on this planet.”
In the same interview, Barrymore regretted what she had said that it be misinterpreted as wishing her mother bad will.
