The simplest way for players to qualify for The Open is to rank in the top 50 on the
Eight weeks before the event, OWGR. The Open Qualifying Series is another alternative for qualifying.
The deadline was this past Sunday. Grillo went up from position 80 to 42 in only a few hours after winning in Fort Worth, Texas, to earn his trip to England.
