The 18-year-old point guard committed to Mississippi Valley State University on Instagram Wednesday.
Teniya, a 5-foot-3 senior at Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee, posted a collage of images in a green and white uniform.
According to Commercial Appeal, Grambling State and Mississippi Valley State offered Teniya her first Division I basketball offer in late January.

Morant took his 3-year-old daughter Kaari to see Teniya in the Overtime Elite Takeover event Queen of the Court at OTE Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this month.
It came less than three months after 23-year-old Morant was caught on Instagram Live brandishing a gun at a Denver strip club.
