Bennett wasn't penalized for the hit. However, Slavin's teammates' cutting and cross-checking put Florida on a power play.

Slavin left with Carolina behind 1-0 after Anthony Duclair scored 41 seconds into the first period. Wednesday's loss ended the Hurricanes' season as Florida swept the best-of-seven series.

In 14 postseason games, Slavin has two goals and six points. He averages 24 minutes in the playoffs.
