Kelly Clarkson addresses the Rolling Stone story that ignited the Internet.

On Friday, May 12, Rolling Stone reported on potentially harmful working conditions on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The exposé argues that personnel are "overworked, underpaid, and that working at the show was traumatizing to their mental health."

Although colleagues said working with Kelly was "fantastic," she posted a statement on Instagram.

she opened her three-slide message. “I love my team at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and to find out that anyone on this show is feeling unheard and/or disrespected is unacceptable.”

“I have always been, and will continue to be, committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment at The Kelly Clarkson Show,”

She wants senior personnel, including herself, to undergo mandatory leadership training.

The sitcom, which premiered on NBC in the fall of 2019, is in its fourth season and has been renewed until its sixth season in 2025.
