Kevin Costner, star of Yellowstone, has had a terrible year and has taken to Instagram to thank his fans for their support.
The first half of Yellowstone's fifth season concluded in January, and the ensuing hiatus has been riddled with speculation and
turmoil about the show's future and Kevin's involvement in it. According to Deadline,
the actor only intended to film the second half of season five, which will premiere in November.
The network was unable to reach an agreement with the show's biggest star, so Paramount eventually put an end to the speculation by
declaring that the show's historic run will end after the current season. Furthermore, Kevin's wife of 18 years filed for divorce.
Kevin uploaded a photo from his 1993 film A Perfect World, in which he co-starred with Clint Eastwood and Laura Dern.
"I love reflecting on this long and wild career," he added. Thank you for joining us on this adventure."
