The ongoing WGA writers' strike is currently impeding Marvel's "Thunderbolts" development.
TheWrap has confirmed that the labor issue has caused a stop in the production of the next
superhero team-up movie, which was scheduled to start shooting in Atlanta in mid-June.
"Thunderbolts" is slated for release on July 26, 2024, and it will be directed by Jake Schreier from a screenplay written
"Black Widow" writer Eric Pearson, who is currently striking alongside the rest of the Writers Guild of America.
