Netflix stated on Tuesday that U.S. members using their account with someone outside the home will be charged $7.99 per month.

The ad-supported, basic, standard, and premium Netflix plans cost $6.99, $9.99, $15.49, and $19.99, respectively
The ordinary plan allows one extra member, while the premium plan allows two.
The streamer's support page states that "ad-supported plans, partner packages, or third-party billed accounts" cannot add users.
Netflix banned password sharing in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic in August.
The streamer cracked down in Canada, New Zealand, Portugal, and Spain in January.
