Patrick Mahomes on Brother's Arrest in Press Conference

When he talked to the media at Kansas City's OTAs on Thursday, Patrick Mahomes talked about his younger brother Jackson's arrest for the first time.

Jackson Mahomes was arrested earlier this month in Johnson County, Kansas, on charges of severe sexual battery. The charges come from an event in March at a diner.

"Honestly, it's kind of a personal thing that I'm just going to keep to myself," Patrick said about his brother Jackson's arrest.

"I come here to play football and try to take care of my family at the same time," he said. So I keep it to myself and just play football outside when I'm in the house."

At the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Jackson is said to have shoved a waitress and kissed a restaurant owner against his will.

He is said to be charged with three counts of sexual battery that are more serious and one count of battery.

Aspen Vaughn, who owns a restaurant, said Mahomes went into her office, grabbed her by the neck, and kissed her at least twice against her will. It was said that the grab left a mark on her neck.

Mahomes's lawyer, Brandan Davies, told The Kansas City Star in March that his client was not guilty.
