Pete Davidson and Colin Jost bought Staten Island ferry "very stoned."

When Pete Davidson and Colin Jost bought their Staten Island ferryboat, they were, as Pete Davidson acknowledged, "high as kites."

At the New York City premiere of his most recent film, "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts."

The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member told "Entertainment Tonight" that he and Colin "were very stoned a year ago and bought a ferry."

But Davidson and Jost's plans for the ship, which they and other investors successfully bid.

On for $280,000 and intended to turn into an event space, have been docked for the time being.

Pete Davison bought a retired Staten Island ferry while "very stoned."

The "King of Staten Island" actor, 29, admitted, "I have no idea what's going on with that thing," adding that he and the "Weekend Update" co-host, 40, were "figuring it out."

Davidson expressed his eagerness that the ferry will float away one day soon before making a joke about throwing a party on it "if it's not sunk"
