Rockets Trading Fourth Pick?

When it comes to the No. 4 pick in the NBA Draft next month, the Houston Rockets have a lot of options.

The Rockets could decide to keep things straightforward and preserve the choice, selecting their best player available.

The Athletic reports that there is interest from across the league, so the franchise might also try to trade out of the pick.

Before the June 22 draft, many teams have already expressed interest in acquiring Houston's lottery choice,

according to league sources who asked to remain anonymous so they could speak freely. The idea that Houston

Portland, and Detroit would actively pursue deals focused around their picks, albeit for different reasons,

was one of the underlying themes of the combine and hot discussions among league personnel following last Tuesday's outcome, writes Kelly Iko of The Athletic.

The Rockets want to improve this season, especially in light of the fact that they don't own the first-round pick in 2024.
