A medical examiner's report confirms that former U.S. Olympian Tori Bowie tragically died from complications during childbirth.

Bowie's body was discovered in her residence following a welfare check prompted by her prolonged absence and lack of communication.

Jemele Hill, a sports journalist, expressed her sorrow over the death of David Bowie and drew attention to the troubling issues surrounding pregnancy among black women.

Langer attributed the problem to black women's undervaluation and inadequate monitoring, which often leads to dismissal of their symptoms when seeking medical attention.
