TNT's Incorrect Graphic Goes Viral Following the Celtics' Game 6 Buzzer Beater

After Boston guard Marcus Smart missed a three-point jumper in the dying seconds of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference playoffs,

almost everyone watching the Celtics-Heat game Saturday night thought Miami was going to the NBA playoffs. So,

when Derrick White put an offensive rebound in the basket with 0.1 seconds left, forcing a Game 7, many people, including TNT's visual specialists, were taken aback.

As time ran out, TNT's score bug displayed Miami as the 103-102 winner, with the text "MIA Wins Series 4-2." However,

after a replay review, the officials counted the basket and validated the score, deciding that White got the ball off in time. As a result, the photograph of the wrong logo became iconic and humorous.

After dropping the first three games of the series, the Celtics became only the fourth NBA club in 151 years to force a Game 7. None of the previous three teams had won Game 7.

If Boston becomes the first team to come back from a 3-0 series disadvantage,

the shot of the inaccurate TNT score bug will certainly be remembered as a hilarious footnote in Celtics history.
