Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson appear to reprimand a man during the 'Asteroid City' Cannes premiere.

As he walked the red carpet with his wife, Rita Wilson, at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday evening, Tom Hanks appeared to reprimand a staffer.

The unnamed individual was photographed gesticulating at the 66-year-old "A Man Called Otto" actor, who was dressed in a black tux, as he posed with his "Asteroid City" co-stars during the film's premiere.

When Hanks was joined on the carpet by his wife, he was spotted pointing his finger at the young man and making a harsh face during their chat.

Wilson, who looked magnificent in a black gown and a long black coat decorated with silver gems, also raised her hand during the heated debate, but it's unclear what they were discussing.

Despite the incident, the cast members of "That Thing You Do!" continued down the red carpet, posing for additional photos.

Page Six reached out to Hanks' representative for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.

The outing comes roughly a month after he and Wilson, both 66, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.

The "Now and Then" star posted a cute photo of her hubby looking at her while holding a cake with the words "Happy Anniversary" inscribed on it.
