Schmidt helped the German 4×400m relay teams finish second at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships and third at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships.
MTV Ingolstadt trained Schmidt. SCC Berlin employs her.
“The world’s sexiest athlete,” Busted Coverage called Schmidt in 2017. Her response: “Why did I get this title? Sport predominates.”
Women’s 4×400m relay heats and final are planned on July 5 and 7.
